The reason I started this blog is because I could not find any reliable user reviews for this truck. This is the first Dodge truck I've bought. I have owned Fords and Chevy's but have always been leery about a Dodge. I read enough about this truck and talked to a few guys at work about their Dodge trucks to convince me to try a Mopar.
In my blog I am going to post fuel mileage and repairs for my Mega Cab. I didn't get the loaded out truck this is a very nicely equipped SLT. The truck stickers for around $34,000 and I got it for $24,800. It was a leftover from 2006 so it was a nice deal. I bought it from Douet Motors in St. Martinville, LA. http://www.douetmotors.com/ Another reason was Douet's $10.99 oil change for as long as I own the truck.
The truck had 28 miles when they filled it with gas. I will post again when I fill it up and inform everyone of the mileage, the ride, and any other information that could be handy. So far I have only driven it from my house to the office. They delivered the Mega Cab to my house where my wife signed the paperwork for us.
Thus far I can't believe the ride. Is it far superior to my old 95 Ford Explorer with 168k miles. This thing rides like a Cadillac and is as quite as a fart in church when rolling down the road.
